About This Piece

• The slender spindles rise the full height of the back, meeting a rail bent from a single piece.
• The legs socket into the seat from below and the spindles from above, each held by a wedged tenon.
• The spindles go in drier than the seat, so the joints close tighter as the two settle.
• The spindles stand just clear of a standard tabletop, so it slides in without catching.
