About This Piece

• The seat is hand-woven in three-ply Danish cord, a twisted paper rope pulled taut so it sits firm.
• The cord ages to a soft honey tone, and asks only an occasional dust and a dabbed cloth for spills.
• The legs are turned as slender spindles into the frame, with a runner below tying them for steadiness.
• The bench feels relaxed and textured down one side of a dining table, at the foot of a bed, in an entryway, or on a patio.
