About This Piece

• The legs socket into the seat from below and the spindles from above, each held by a wedged tenon.
• The spindles go in drier than the seat, so the joints close tighter as the two settle.
• The runners are cut in a long curve and let into the legs, so the arc stays even from end to end.
• The rocker feels soothing in a living room or a nursery, moving before it is asked to.
