For this project, we tied with the talented team from Quirk Studio for designing a tailormade dining set for the home of a lovely young couple in Mumbai. Called ‘Mysa’ (MEE-sah), Swedish for being simple, content and cozy, the home is an absolute treat for the senses.
We were roped in for making the Trestle dining table and the Nakashima inspired spindle bench, Natura.
Lighting is the secret ingredient when using rosewood furniture - and you cannot get more perfect light conditions than what you see here. With natural light flowing in through the windows and a lovely light piece on the ceiling, the wood grains love this and reward us with a beautiful and unique grain play during the day and night alike.
